Wolf and Wick was born of love and loss
After the stillbirth of my son, Wolfgang, I was surrounded by kindness. Friends and family filled my home with flowers, a beautiful gesture, but one that carried unexpected heartache. Each bouquet was stunning, just as my baby was, yet as they withered, I was reminded again of what I had lost. Something so beautiful, fading too quickly.
That is where the seed of Wolf and Wick began. I wanted to find a way to capture the beauty of flowers, but without the sadness of watching them die. Flowers that would remain vibrant, hold their fragrance and stay with you. A lasting reminder rather than a fleeting one.
So, I poured the love and attention of a new mother into creating something unique: New Zealand’s original scented wax flower bouquets. Each piece is carefully crafted to be beautiful, enduring, and filled with meaning.
Fresh flowers are fleeting. They wilt, fade, and are gone within days.
